About the Name
What does “Ekzeto” mean?
Ekzeto comes from the Greek word ἐκζητέω (ekzeteo), meaning “to seek out diligently”. It appears throughout the New Testament, most notably in Hebrews 11:6:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
— Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
The word ekzeteo carries more intensity than a casual search — it implies earnest, wholehearted pursuit. That idea sits at the core of the game: every quest, every battle, every journey is an act of diligently seeking God.
Why “Ekzeto” and not “Ekzeteo”?
We couldn’t afford the $2,000 asking price for ekzeteo.com. So we dropped the “o” and picked up ekzeto.com instead. Turns out the shorter name grew on us — it’s snappier, easier to type, and still unmistakably rooted in the original Greek.
Sometimes the best names come from a tight budget.
